(More customer reviews)These cases are described as being able to hold 4 to 12 discs, but I have found they hold 13 without any trouble. In addition, the disc well does not snuggle up to the opposite cover, so there is room for documentation, making the friction notches more than decorative. Ace Cases does make other size cases and I have ordered the 1 to 3 size. I have been looking for a good source of cases like these for a long time. Until now, the only source I have found, have been to purchase PC games. These cases are great!

(More customer reviews)I've used Atlantic, I've used DiscSox. These are more expensive but are easier to manipulate when you want to get a movie out. They are also made out of archival materials so your print work should last longer. (I don't know if it's any better for the disc itself.) You can store movies or music in one-tenth of the space and that is what makes them worth the money. They sell things to store them in but they fit nicely into plastic containers made by Sterilite that you can buy at Walmart for a couple of dollars. Each container will hold about 75 movies. These really help if you have a large collection. The dividers and labels help keep track of everything however you decide to arrange or catagorize it. Both sleeves work, but these are worth the few extra dollars.

25 Empty Standard DOUBLE Blue Replacement Boxes / Cases for Blu-Ray Discs #DVBR12BRDO Review

(More customer reviews)I bought some cheap blu-rays that came in DVD cases, but I wanted them in real blu-ray cases. Expected really cheap cases, but that was OK considering how cheap these are in volume. Was pleasantly surprised to find that cases seem to be of decent quality. Some reviewers of other such replacement cases point out minor differences in manufacturing between different blu-ray case manufacturers, however I'm really not paying that much attention to these cases.
Cases have the raised blu-ray logo. Logo has the same finish as the rest of the case (not silver or another color). As shown in picture, cases feature a spot for a disk on both sides of the case (this seems to be standard for blu-ray cases that hold two discs). Cases also feature clips which hold an insert/booklet over the left hand disc. Discs seem to be held in place well, and I haven't had a problem with them falling out.
Would recommend as a cheap replacement.

Verbatim 95094 DVD or Blu-ray Tall Video Storage Case, Black, 50-Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I bought 2 boxes of these Verbatim DVD Video Trimcases (50pk, Black) - so, 100 DVD thin (trim) cases back in 2009, and they were OK. The other reviewer found many of them broke recently - but all of mine were OK when I got them. I will say, the Verbatims were much better than some bulk no-name cases that looked the same, but came in bulk from some other online source that I had also used 2 years ago. The Verbatim's clear plastic was better than the bulk no-named ones. But, 3 years ago I had found some of these cases from Memorex, and the Memorex ones were the best at that time. I can not find black Memorex thin DVD cases now, and I hated the no-named bulk ones, so the Verbatims were pretty good.
HOWEVER, I just got another 50 of these in December 2009, and wow, they are MUCH better than the prior ones, and they are even better than the Memorex ones I had years ago.
The DVD button that holds the DVD is nice. The clear plastic is really thick and study. This gives a great first impression. I'm ordering another 50 right now as they are now the best I've seen.
The unfortunate aspect of these, is that so far, I've not found a good total price for them. Most of the online places want about as much for shipping and handling as they do for the cases, and I've not found a place that will provide free shipping if I spend enough with them. Amazon, if you are reading this, please cut a deal with one of the suppliers for these. In 2010, as far as I have found, there is no better for large quantities of black thin (trim) DVD cases.

Artisan 240 Disc Black Faux Leather DVD Album with 120 Liner Notes & Title Cover Page Capacity Using Metal Ring Binder Review

(More customer reviews)I have entire cabinets full of DVDs. They threaten to take over every bit of available space in the living room. I really wanted something that would allow me to reduce the bulkiness of the collection, while keeping it relatively easy to look through and find the movie I'm looking for.
I got this binder after reading reviews on a few different products because it seemed like this one was the one that best fits the DVD artwork and booklets. In practice, movies with thin paper cover artwork fit just fine, but heavier paper and the DVDs with cardboard covers instead of the plastic DVD cases have to be folded in the middle of the spine. Not a huge deal, but I know there are plenty of neat freaks like me who will have a fit at the thought of creasing the covers.
Something else that occurred to me as I started transferring my DVD collection to this case is that I have quite a few DVDs that are in unusual packaging that can't really be collapsed down to fit. This poses two problems: first, I'm still going to have a stack of DVDs to deal with because for one reason or another I can't part with the original packaging, and second, this tends to throw off any cataloging system you might implement. If you're looking through the folio at movies, you might not think about the movies that aren't in it.
The construction of this folio seems well done. My one complaint is that with the four sets of binder rings across the very wide spine, as you fill up the book the pages tend to not lay very flat. I'm not sure that there's much that can be done about it, but it might be problematic with a very full collection. The pages seem a little flimsy, but I haven't had any tears or rips, despite shoving some pretty tight cover art into the pockets. The layout with one artwork pocket and two disc pockets on each side of the page is nice, but most of my movies have only one disc, so on most pages there's an empty disc pocket. This means that ultimately, if I insist on keeping the artwork and discs together, I'll need two or three of these folders to house my entire collection. But that's fine, because just one of these folders takes up only about a third as much space as the movies in their DVD cases did.

(More customer reviews)Looking for replacement DVD cases for those that you opened in anticipation, only to find the disc frolicking in the case and the teeth from the hub rattling around inside? You know the hubs I am talking about--the five-pointed serpents-head design, where anywhere from one to all five teeth have broken off. The design of the hubs on these replacement cases--three semi-circular tongues--is one that I have never experienced a problem with. What a relief. Now if only the DVD manufacturers would quit sending us that defective crap!
By the way, the seller I used was Square Deal Recordings & Supplies. I cannot say, of course, that the replacement cases from this or any other seller will be what I have described. I spent considerable time on the Internet researching the problem of broken teeth on DVD hubs, looking specifically for a discussion of hub designs, but I found very little. Until sellers of replacement cases directly market them as being one of the better designs--I have seen three: two good, one bad, none ugly--we buyers cannot be sure of what we are getting. (Non-awareness of the problem may account for the mixed reviews of this product.)
To Sellers: Here is a marketing opportunity just waiting for you. Surely I cannot be the only one frustrated by this problem. Educate us on the various hub designs of these 7mm double-DVD slimline cases, and reassure us that we are not just throwing good money after bad on the same cases that have caused us so much grief.

(More customer reviews)These CD/DVD cases are nice and thin, but they are a little fragile. When you open the case, it is possible to rip the case. (So the plastic "locks" work well -- maybe too well -- the case won't open on its own.)
Thin cases are nice because they do save on storage. For what I paid, it was about what I expected. I just have to be a little careful when opening the cases. I open them by placing my fingers by the "locks."

Artisan Red Croc 240 Disc DVD Organizer Album with 120 Liner Notes or Title Cover Page Capacity Using Metal Ring Binder Review

(More customer reviews)There are 4 one-inch 3-ring binder clasps side by side inside the folder. That's right 4 right next to each other. That's very tricky to re-arrange the sleeves in when it's out of order. I don't know who came up with this system but I had to use another 3-ring binder to hold half of the sleeves. That's why I took off one star.
I still use the binder but there's no way I can squeeze in 240 without going crazy with the sleeves falling out of the binder clasps. Despite my troubles with this binder I would choose this particular design over the other CD/DVD strap-binders on the market (like Case Logic styles). The strap binders requires specially punched sleeves and it can't ever be used in a 3-ring binder. Plus I read reviews of people having trouble with the locking and unlocking the straps.
As for the sleeves, I love them! They are fantastic sleeves and fits into a large 3-ring CD binder I purchased from Target. Purchasing this product has helped me get rid of all my DVD jewel cases and split my entire collection into two large binders. I love it!

(More customer reviews)I just got these and installed them a couple of nights ago (I ordered two). I am really pleased with them. The C.D.'s are accessible and easy to see and sort in the individual "squares". I was finally able to put Mozart with Mozart and Bach with Bach and Alison Kraus with Alison Krause and Leo Kotke with Leo Kotke, etc. and etc. and etc. I think it is a great design! The black wire is there, but, doesn't take over like a wood shelf does. Also, it is fairly lightweight which made installation easy! We have hundreds of C.D.'s and storing them and organizing them has been a nightmare! I was interested in these because the product description said they each held 108 C.D.'s. I had my doubts, but, I'm here to tell you, they do! It is great to get some of our C.D.'s off the floor where we have to squat and use a flashlight to find one (on regular C.D. shelves). One thing to be aware of is that they do stick out from the wall (of course) and so I was unable to put them where I'd intended...on the hall wall. I was afraid they'd get in the way and get knocked around. I hung them over the bookcases that house DVD's, etc. and since they don't stick out any further than the shelves, they are safe! The diamond shape also gives you the opportunity to create a nice design on the wall. You can put them up against each other or separate them...they look great either way! If you are a media hog like we are and your C.D.'s are all over the place, these are a terrific solution!

(More customer reviews)My biggest difficulty in shopping for a case was finding one advertized for 10-inch players that actually fit them. Our 10-inch Toshiba fits perfectly in this case--even if the battery is attached. The main compartment is high enough to hold headphones without crushing them as well as the accessory cords and battery for our player. There is a side pocket that also has ample room for cords and a sleeve for DVDs. A previous reviewer said that this will not mount on the back headrest of his driver-side seat--I do not find such to be the case. The case includes instructions for mounting between two bucket seats or on the back headrest of one seat. A sufficiently versatile product.

Discgear Selector 100 Auto Disc Retrieval System Review

(More customer reviews)This thing is genius and exactly what I didn't know I wanted. I had gone through my DVDs and gotten rid of the old ones, and I still had too many. I wasn't happy with my open DVD stand because it was bulky and, in my opinion, unsightly. But, I also didn't want to buy a high-end piece of furniture I liked bc I'd rather spend my money on other things.
I stumbled on this by accident and I just got my first one. Before purchasing this unit I did alot of research on various units that store DVDs. I was excited by the electronic one but the reviews said it was loud and tended to break. This has no motor, so unless I am pounding on it or throwing it across the room, I can't imagine breaking it any time soon. And for less than $40, I'm thrilled.
It was so easy to fill its silly. The software is easy to generate, edit, and move around. I kept pushing the button and 'ta da' the right DVD just pops up and when I'm done watching it, I just pop it back in. I realize how lazy that is to want to save the 5 seconds it takes to put the DVD back in the case. But, now that I have it sorted on their software I can find DVDs I'd forgotten I had. I swear I look through them all when I'm hunting for something to watch, but I just found two I forgot I even had!
I'm buying two more for the rest of the DVDs and then I'm starting in on my computer and music CDs. I can't wait.

(More customer reviews)Not too much to say except these are great cases, and when you slide in the jacket insert, you probably wouldn't know it wasn't the original case it came in. If you look really really closely the shade of blue is slightly different then original store casings and the blu ray logo is slightly bigger, but I didn't even notice until I really looked for discrepancies. I buy previously viewed blu rays at blockbuster sometimes, and they put their blus in DVD cases, which is annoying, so this was a perfect solution for me. Recommended.

Americopy 5 pack 6 Disc DVD Case Review

It was not my intention to buy something that shatters to small pieces at the slightest impact. Slight impact will break the disc holding clips as well as the center page mounting system. I've also had quite a few break when simply trying to open the cases. Use of a more resilient plastic would make these cases perfect but as they are, they pose a potential hazard to your discs.

When I unpacked the box and took the cases out there were several of them that were cracked and had pieces broken off. The plastic covering on the outside of the case to put your cover under, are thin and dent/rip easily. I can't complain for the price though. They are a good deal!
