(More customer reviews)I was sitting in my room one day feeling a little down. I wondered why I felt so depressed. Looking around the room at the blank white painted walls I realized that something needed to change.
I jumped on Amazon and started searching for just the right thing to hang on my melancholy walls. This was a painstaking process trying to find just the right item to hang up and brighten up the room. I was about to give up but then I saw it in all of it's beautiful glory.
I'm not sure if it was Travolta, Seth Green, the big hairy ape (I think his name is Robin) or the Gorilla gently caring for Seth that did it. Maybe it's the whole scene together that drew me in, I don't know, but I thought to myself "This is it. This is what is missing from my life."
I bought this without a second thought and even had it shipped two day so I could get it sooner. When it came in the mail it was like Christmas morning, it was actually the day before Christmas since mail isn't delivered on Christmas day. I opened it with care, filled with excitement and wonder. "What would it look like in person?"
When I opened the box there was a warm glow that surrounded the rolled up poster. I was afraid to touch it thinking that maybe I wasn't worthy of it's greatness. After putting on a pair of oven mitts I finally mustered up the courage to unroll the poster and when I did, my face practically melted off. After sitting down for a moment and gathering myself I was able to open it up and really study the fine detail of the image. Never before in my life have I seen such a good quality copy of a color image on glossy finish paper.
I took it upstairs to my room and, with great care, hung it on my wall. I decided to hang it on the wall opposite my bed so that it is the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing before I fall asleep.
I'm thrilled with my Old Dogs poster. It's been a couple of months now and it still hangs on my wall bringing me joy in all of it's 11" x 17" glory.
