In 1948, the Cleveland Indians won the World Series over the Boston Braves. Before the start of the 1949 season, this movie was shot and featured numerous players in an all-too-typical story of a child learning life lessons through his heroes on the diamond.
The poster is a copy of the actual promotional print used for the movie. It is an outstanding - and inexpensive - item for a fan of the Cleveland Indians/Major League Baseball or a collector of items celebrating the history of the city.
This will certainly be a conversational item when placed in a frame for display in a den or living room.
