(More customer reviews)`A Little Princess' released in '95 was a magnificent film that never received anywhere near the acclaim it so richly deserved. The only reason I can think of to justify this condition that possibly people remembered the original Shirley Temple version from '39 and felt a remake was unnecessary. In my opinion this version starring Liesel Mathews is an absolute classic and one of the best family films ever made.
The thing I like the most about this 11" x 17" reproduction poster is the large image of little Liesel Mathews who starred as Sarah. She is absolutely adorable in this film and delivers a magnificent performance. The only drawback to this item is that it's a reproduction of the poster distributed to theaters upon its second release in an attempt to find a bigger audience than it did the first time around, hence all the wording on the top and down the right side. I would have preferred that all this writing was excluded.
