(More customer reviews)This is a pretty nice item to pay homage to the greatest Trek film and a timeless Sci-Fi action-adventure. It looks good overall, the quality of the matt and frame is excellent, and thoughtfully they have cut out the matt for each film cel and have no backing on the frame so that light can illuminate the film. Of course this is pointless once you hang it on the wall, unless your wall is backlit.
The photo is nice and will hopefully not fade over time. I question the description of the "engraved nameplate", more like a nice gold sticker with the film logo printed on it.
And it does mention the film cels are 35mm, but does not accurately show how distorted and squashed the images will be in that format. They look rather bizarre, considering how awesome this movie looked in its widescreen format. But I understand many prints of the film were in 35mm format and were projected in the correct aspect ratio, still it looks odd and kind of cheapens the overall impression.
The scenes depicted are mostly satisfying, considering there really were no bad scenes in the film, but it would have been nice to have at least ONE of the starships depicted in a cel, considering they were as much a main character as any actor in the film.
Overall this is a nice and unique way to commemorate a great moment in cinema, even if not the most perfect way.
