(More customer reviews)I had seen this image reproduced at a smaller scale in Strauss' book German Single-Leaf Woodcuts 1550-1600 and had hoped that this larger scale poster would offer me greater clarity and detail for research purposes. But it doesn't. It has obviously been scanned from a secondary source and the pixels are very obvious in the poster. This also makes the text difficult to decipher. The very top of the image has also been cropped off. It's okay I guess if you're just after an interesting, non-precious image to pin up, and it's great that early woodblocks are getting some contemporary attention, but if you're actually trying to get some detailed insight into Kress' image you'd probably be better off with Strauss' book.
