(More customer reviews)If you were a teenage male in the early `70's I have a question for you. What actress did you have a crush on? If you're anything like me the answer would be a resounding Jennifer O'Neil from the '71 film `Summer of `42'. This film offered an entertaining blend of comedy, nostalgia and bittersweet romance that captivated me, not to mention one of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen. There were quite a few repeat trips to the theater to see this one.
The item on this page is a 11" x 17" reproduction poster of the film `Summer of `42'. The mood and emotion of the film is encapsulated well in the poster design; a sensitive teenage boy stands aside an opening in a picket fence as he gazes longing into the distance. Superimposed above and behind him is a large portrait shot of the older woman (Jennifer O'Neil) he can't get out of his mind. It creates a nice mood which will definitely bring back old memories of first love and innocence lost.
