(More customer reviews)This 1991 classic has been mined, rebooted and ripped off but the original still shines. The poster glows with yellows and reds while blacks and blues hem in the characters like urban doom. Not only do Cuba Gooding Jr. and Laurence Fishburne do excellent work but movie audiences got their first look at Ice Cube who has grown into his own cottage industry of music and comedy. But who can forget the chill of Cube sitting on his porch when a car stops far up the street and sits there. Cube rises and holds out his hands in a gesture of despair and acceptance that wasn't funny at all and perfectly silent. It's an excellent poster that is a keeper for anyone interested in the best of 90s film.
