(More customer reviews)My title caption comes from the trailer for this film and in 1975 it was not only the biggest movie of its time but the first EPIC HORROR(yes..yes I know to call it HORROR will be debated forever...FUNNY! No one debated it in the Summer of 75:) When I saw this on the BIG SCREEN I was only 5 yrs old. Still I remember it was evening time and it was at CENTURY THEATER 22 next to the famous HAUNTED house WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE in San Jose Calif. All I remember is the hand with crabs at the beach and Roy Schnider(HELLO N.L.D.) feeding the Shark and it coming up!!! NEED A BIGGER BOAT. Oh! and people screaming and believe it or not LEAVING???(hey some people could not hang with it) Now it is so sad the teenagers I work with will say That its WEEEEK! And that shark was so phony!! It also has its place in ACTION section at your local BlockBuster??? Sad how such a scary film in time becomes quite tamed to the public now. Well I will never forget and MONSTERS OF FILMLAND still call it the biggest grossing HORROR film so far. I watch it every Oct. along with the other classics for it still has not lost its POWER TO SCARE.....GIRL IN WATER: Oh! It hurts("bluuurp") IT HURTS!!!!!
