The popper I had beed using was a 2oz popper and I had to pop 3 batches of popcorn in order to make enough. When I found this machine I was very excited that it was labeled as a 6oz popcorn machine. That would mean that I would only need to pop 1 (maybe 2) batches at a time. As it turns out, the machine is only a 4oz popper. The product is listed here a 6oz poppper and the box was labeled as a 6oz popper when it arrived. However, when you look at the information printed on the door of the machine it clearly indicated that this is a 4oz machine. I found the label on the door after I had already determined (by the amount of corn I could actually pop) that this was a 4oz popper. I would send it back and get the other poppper but I have very limited space and this machine is the perfect size to fit on my counter. This was yet another reason I was excited to find this machine. It was supposedly a 6oz machine that had a height of less that 21" (the perfect size sine my counter is 20 1/4" high). Since I cannot find another one that pops more but fits in the space I have, I will keep this one.
The two stars is based solely on my dissappointment of finding that this is a 4oz and not a 6oz machine. To be fair, I am enjoying nearly everything else about it. It is super quiet, I had to look carefully to see that the shaft was spinning to ensure that it was turned on. The holes and tray for collecting the unpopped kernels is great.
