(More customer reviews)I am a huge fan of The Shawshank Redemption. I bought this poster, the Rita, and the Marilyn. They look great surrounding my TV. I just noticed something though. This poster is not exactly the same one as in the movie. It's very, very close, but there are subtle differences. Her hair is where I first noticed it. Upon further examination I found more. It kind of reminds me of Where's Waldo. At any rate, the effect is still the same. The negatives of the two posters were probably simultaneous on the roll, and no normal person would ever notice the difference. Kind of funny though.

Note that this is a theater sized poster which is bigger than the usual poster size, so be prepared if you plan to fram this. But the product is exactly what we hoped for - full size, original quality movie poster. Outstanding.

More pros than cons ... difficult to find Big Daddy poster, so this was quite a find ... it's not too large for those with limited wall space - just the right size. Would have preferred it printed on heavier stock, but that's the only con. Great buy at a great price.

"The Searchers" is my favorite Wayne movie, and I wanted this poster as a tribute to Wayne and his career. The poster comes in a tube and needs to be attached to a backing board. This can be done with spray adhesive 3M Spray Mount Artist's Adhesive, One 15.25 Ounce Can (MMM6065). The warm tones of the poster allow a pine framework stained with a maple or colonial stain. The poster can also be purchased with a frame (for considerably more cost). The poster itself is powerful, with Wayne's imposing resolute face overlooking the ending scene of the movie, the return of captive Debbie to the Jorgenson home. The peaks of Monument Valley, (Wayne and John Ford's favorite western setting), form the backdrop from which the five year search took place.
