is: "Do not buy it if you don't plan on framing it". When I first bought it and took it out of the tube, the ink came off on my hands. A month later, the sides began to curl up. It's a beautiful poster for any Sex and the City fan. Just frame it.

(More customer reviews)The Most Spectacular Western of All Time, "Once Upon the Time in the West" poster/one sheet is something I was really looking forward to receiving. When I got it, I was slightly less excited to see how pixelated the image actually is. It looks cool from 10 feet away, but up close, the image is really soft. This is disappointing. But as a reproduction, there's not much you can expect from it, as there really is no other option on the market (all the other posters I found are made by company). I still will hang this proudly in my home, but not as proud as I would if the image was as crisp as the artist intended it to look 40 years ago.

(More customer reviews)One of the strange twists of movie fate is that the Poles make great movie posters. It makes sense, therefore, that a Polish director like Roman Polanski would direct a movie with the finest poster ever printed. Period. Take a look at the last Fokkers poster. The design was a vertical line of passport photos, IDs included, a throwaway shot of anonymous children and blinding white space. Look at the poster for "Chinatown." Look how both stars are featured and featured big, how Nicholson's cigarette smoke turns into water, and the Grauman's Chinese font of the copy. With some posters, you could take away the title and never know what movie it was. "Chinatown" is such a good poster, you could remove whole parts and it would still do the job. This particular print is clear, detailed and affordable, my three favorite qualities of a poster.

The version you are ordering here is a reproduction of the original (which is fine) but the colors are lacking. Looks like a scan of the original just printed out. Does the trick framed in the theater room, but looks and feels cheap. It is a good price so I do not feel ripped off.

(More customer reviews)It's never really Christmas to me until I see the Alistair Sim version of "The Christmas Carol," "The Shop Around the Corner" and my favorite holiday special of all, "Die Hard." Look how this poster obeys the single most important rule of posters -- one image. This one-sheet offers more than a line of passport photos down one side, some helpful identification and out. The white-on-black copy tells us there's going to be trouble, the gun underlines the message and Willis' watchful star wraps it up. A merry Christmas to all.
