(More customer reviews)I've just started getting into bigger prints, trying to make the most out of my new DSLR. I don't believe photo frames should be expensive, unless you're framing up some exotic and really expensive art piece. With that rationale, I decided to give MCS Plastic Format Frame a try. If it turned out to be shoddy work then at least it wouldn't be such an expensive mistake.
But it lived up to its expectations; maybe even exceeded them. This frame is front loading, so you push the glass out from the front. It's fast and easy. Perhaps some will be worried that the glass (yes, not plastic) will fall out, but the catches are pretty sturdy and I haven't had any problems.
On the back, there are holes on the cross-frame structure for you to hang on the wall, either by landscape or portrait orientation. This 11x14 doesn't come with a stand to make it a table-top frame, but the smaller MCS frames do. Overall, I'm really pleased with this product and will buy many more in the future to frame up any nice prints.
