However, this poster does not capture any of the epic. It does capture images of the cast very similar to that used on the original soundtrack album.

However, the picture quality of the poster appears as the image was "blown up" from a smaller size then reprinted. I wasn't expecting an original poster from the 1950s, but a better description could have eased expectations. Considering the "age" of the image and price, poster works.

(More customer reviews)My daughter bought this over the summer, as she has a funny adoration for this Simon Baker, starring in the well-done "Mentalist" TV series, and she nailed it to her wall. It seems fine, and- well, what can I say? A poster's a poster. Maybe a little expensive for a large, glossy piece of paper, but, hey, she's happy with it, so a good buy for any fan of the series or the famous Simon.

(More customer reviews)This is an extremely high quality picture, printed on thick paper with high gloss. It looks more like a photograph than a poster. Without question, this is a stunning image.
Until seeing this poster advertised on Amazon, I was unaware of this particular image for Almost Famous. The classic poster is the sunglasses, (Almost Famous - Movie Poster - 27 x 40), an amazing image all alone. Kate Hudson is so much the icon of this film, and together these two posters really represent the film.
I'm not certain that either image was actually in the film. This poster is a bit more literal, looking a bit like it could be from the film. Kate Hudson is just phenomenally sensual in this pose. And the gorgeous Les Paul sitting next to her is pretty amazing in it's own right. They balance each other so well.
A beautiful poster for one of the best films ever made.

Overall, these are not big problems, they do not take much away from the image. It gives the impression that it was taken with a lower quality camera, or the poster was blown up from a smaller image.

(More customer reviews)That is the question everybody is asking about "The Poughkeepsie Tapes", where is the dvd release, something, anything, please! Well I finally smartened up and found a download of the movie and, downloaded it! So I'm trying to figure out why they haven't released it yet, I mean its a great movie besides the lighting situation for the camera he uses, why doesnt he have night vision? I hate staring at a black screen and hearing people talking or scream or crying.......its annoying at times. Besides that its a really good serial killer movie and I love the first person camera style, always have. For a moment I almost disliked the movie due to the fact that they find the killer to easily and give him the death sentence by lethal injection! But soon you find out it was all a set-up and he was innocent and was not the Water Street Butcher! I thought that was pretty damn awesome......if you can find a good download of this movie, which isnt that hard, download it because this movie may never be released and it deserves to be viewed, especially if your a horror movie fan!
NOTE: I know this is a movie poster for The Poughkeepsie Tapes and not the movie its self, but I had to post this somewhere!
