Con air is the journey of Cameron Poe, played by the ever talented Nicholas Cage, the street tough maverick with nothing to lose. But really, he has everything to lose - a beautiful wife and daughter, and the gift that binds him to the love of his family: dear, sweet Casey, and his wife Tricia.
After being honorably discharged from his job as an Army Ranger, Cameron Poe returns home to his lovely pregnant wife. After a heart wrenching reunion, they are approached by a group of ruffians with sour intentions. In his mighty and just rage, Cameron accidentally murders one of the degenerate hooligans to protect dear, sweet Tricia and the unborn child within her.
Cameron's reconciliation with his wife is cut short, as he is sentenced to prison for his vigilantism. The judge even goes as far as saying that his potential for lethality makes him a danger to society due to his extensive training in the armed forces. Poe's years in prison are enumerated by his frequent penpal letters with his growing daughter (dear, sweet Casey), providing light and hope for his dismal life deep in the clutches of the federal penitentiary. He longs for the day that he can reunite with his loving wife, and dear, sweet Casey, whom he has never met because he does not wish for his daughter to ever see him entrenched in the filth of the penal system.
I do not wish to spoil the remainder of this work of art, but needless to say, the final scene had me on the edge of me seat, clutching myself as tears rolled down my cheeks. This is a film that will change you - it would surely thaw the most frozen of hearts and calm the most hectic of minds. A work of art such as this poster is the thing to complete any household. Any American family would be proud to display such a poster as the centerpiece of their home.
