(More customer reviews)One of the strange twists of movie fate is that the Poles make great movie posters. It makes sense, therefore, that a Polish director like Roman Polanski would direct a movie with the finest poster ever printed. Period. Take a look at the last Fokkers poster. The design was a vertical line of passport photos, IDs included, a throwaway shot of anonymous children and blinding white space. Look at the poster for "Chinatown." Look how both stars are featured and featured big, how Nicholson's cigarette smoke turns into water, and the Grauman's Chinese font of the copy. With some posters, you could take away the title and never know what movie it was. "Chinatown" is such a good poster, you could remove whole parts and it would still do the job. This particular print is clear, detailed and affordable, my three favorite qualities of a poster.
