As for this product, I used the refinisher when we first moved in to our house (the house was 3 years old) to restore the shine on the wood floors, and then I mop weekly with the every day cleaner it came with. My floors always look shiny with no slippery or sticky residue. It has even removed crayon and other marks, thanks to my toddlers! I have a lot of friends that I've recommended this too after they have complained that their hardwood floors look dull and nothing seems to shine them up. Just make sure you machine wash the mop heads WITHOUT fabric softener and then lay them out flat to dry. Fabric softeners and dryers will mess up the microfiber, making it less absorbent.
